Why is it free?
Because the quickest way to judge a testing service is to read one of its reports. We'd rather you see the quality on your own app than take our word for it. Paying customers fund it, which is why it's one per account and capped each month.
What counts as one flow?
One path a user takes to get something done: signing up and finishing onboarding, searching and adding to cart, creating and sharing a document. Testers follow your brief, so the clearer the path, the more useful the report.
Is there a catch?
No card is needed and nothing renews. The limits are the point: 3 testers, one flow, public links only, and free runs are picked up after paid ones. If testing your whole app matters, that is what paid runs are for.
Why can't I get a second Spot Check?
Each account, email address and app gets one. It keeps the offer sustainable so it can stay open to new developers. After that, a credit pack is the lowest-commitment way to run a full test.
Does a Spot Check count toward Google Play's closed testing requirement?
No. That requirement needs 12 testers opted in for 14 days, which is included on every paid plan.
What if the free runs are used up for the month?
We cap free runs each month so paying customers are never kept waiting. If the cap is reached, the form tells you, and Spot Checks reopen on the 1st of the next month.
